Birthday celebration

Jan 07, 2018 by Helen

Really enjoyed our afternoon at The Derbyshire Winery. It was booked as a surprise for part of my husbands 60th birthday celebrations. We tasted white, rosé, red and mulled wines and Keith's light hearted approach telling us about the wines made it fun! Would definitely recommend booking this venue, very good value.
Thanks Keith

Great business to deal with

Nov 23, 2017 by Judith Barker

I have been buying wine from Keith for over 4 years now. I have a number of business's which I purchase
the wine for. All the wines are superb. The feed back I get from my clients is always complimentary. I thoroughly recommend dealing with Keith and his successful wine business.

Best Hen Party Ever!

May 29, 2017 by Clara Fletcher

My friends booked Keith's wine tasting session for part of my hen party weekend away in Bakewell. Keith was very accommodating and provided us with many generous samples of his wine. All the wines we sampled were delicious and we loved hearing his expertise on wine and the origin of each name he chose for the wine. There was also a delicious buffet he provided. I would definitely come back here and recommend this to anybody. Keith had a great sense of humour which made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for having us!

We had a fantastic afternoon with Keith, who is very knowledgeable and hospitable. We have never had such generous wine tasting portions! Every wine was delicious, it was difficult deciding which wines to buy! We floated home in high spirits! David & Tracy from Surrey, and Graham & Janine from Pennsylvania USA.

Wine tasting

Aug 30, 2016 by Jayne

During my friend's hen weekend a couple of weeks ago, we went wine tasting at The Derbyshire Winery and had a fantastic time! Lost track of how many different delicious wines we tasted - fruit, white, rosé and red. All wines were very well explained and we could ask questions throughout which were answered expertly without it being boring. Also a lovely cheese and biscuit buffet was provided for us to enjoy alongside the wine. I left tipsy and with a free half bottle of my choice - what more could I ask for! Keith is an absolutely brilliant host. Highly recommended.

Joy's Blush Rosè

May 02, 2016 by Louise Guilfoyle

Having visited the very disappointing Superheroes event this weekend, we took a stroll over the bridge into Bakewell, and I'm so glad we did. Stumbled across two ladies from The Derbyshire Winery and taste tested this delightful wine. I saved it until the next evening and partook of a glass and a half (1/2 the bottle) whilst watching a drama. It is so easy to drink, it's a good job I can restrain myself otherwise I'd have finished the whole bottle. It's just right, not sweet, not dry, just perfect. Normally if I stumble across a wine I enjoy, I save a bit for my cousin to try, not this time, I'm definitely not sharing ? However I will be telling her exactly how good it is. Just a shame there are no local stockists in my area (Bury/Ramsbottom), perhaps you should contact The Vineyard in Ramsbottom about stocking your wines.

Ash ford Whote

A zingy, light white. We drank this as an aperitif but it would go very well with fish or chicken. I was impressed by this wine as I had bought it more as a trial and error impulse buy with the thought that I could always drink something else if it wasn't very good. I am glad to say that it was very drinkable. I would certainly buy this again and am looking forward to trying out a red.
